That’s what our candidates bring to the table. The team behind Elected Leadership for SRP isn’t made up of politicians or figureheads. We’re utility experts, business leaders, veterans, and Arizona residents who care deeply about the future of our state. Together, we’re running to ensure that SRP remains community-led, affordable, and accountable to the people it serves.

Meet the candidates:

• Chris Dobson – For SRP President Currently Vice President of SRP, Chris brings decades of experience and a strategic vision for balancing cost, sustainability, and future growth.

• Barry Paceley – For SRP Vice President A 4-term SRP Council member and former Vice Chair, Barry has hands-on knowledge of SRP’s infrastructure, water rights, and challenges ahead.

• Kelly Cooper – For Board Director, District 14 A business owner and veteran, Kelly stands for protecting SRP from outside interests and keeping decisions local and transparent.

• Rusty Kennedy - For Board Director, District 12 Currently Executive Vice President at CBRE National Partners, Rusty is an active Arizona community leader and proud husband and father of four.

Why are we running? Because the stakes are too high to sit back. We’re seeing threats to water security. We’re seeing unnecessary rate hikes across the country. We’re seeing federal pressure that doesn’t always align with Arizona’s needs. It’s time to elect people who will stand up for landowners, protect our water rights, and lead with integrity.
